Cricinfo staff30-Jul-2007Shane Warne’s manager says his client is upset the Indian Cricket League announced his signing before he had agreed to join the competition. Kapil Dev said last week Warne had signed a contract to play in the month-long series, but the suggestion has angered his manager James Erskine.”Certainly I am p**sed off, and I think Shane is rightly p**sed off, that they said he had announced he had signed,” Erskine said in the Herald Sun. “That’s not true. That hasn’t gone down well. That shows a lack of organising.”Warne has said he was interested in playing in the competition but his manager told the paper he was wary of not offending Cricket Australia and the International Cricket Council.
