Marouane Fellaini made just his 14th Premier League appearance of the season in Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday night.
The 30-year-old had missed the team’s last three league fixtures, but was thrust into action against the Cherries, and helped the Red Devils secure all three points with a strong performance.
United boss Jose Mourinho has been trying to get Fellaini to sign a new contract for much of the season, but it appears increasingly likely that the Belgium international will be leaving Old Trafford when his current deal expires this summer.
Fellaini, who is believed to be on £80,000 a week, has largely disappointed at United, but the midfielder has certainly had his moments, and it is not a surprise that he has a number of clubs currently battling for his signature.
The United fans have been debating the future of the midfielder, and whilst many would be happy to see him leave this summer, there are those that feel the club should try to keep him.

Thank goodness the game on Saturday doesn’t kick-off until 5:30!!
