According to Estadio Deportivo, Liverpool forward Divock Origi has emerged as a potential summer transfer target for Real Betis.
Origi struck eight times in 22 appearances for the Reds during the 2018-19 campaign – including his team’s second against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final earlier this month.
The Belgium international actually only managed three Premier League goals for Jurgen Klopp’s side last season, though, and he is behind the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino when it comes to a starting spot.
Origi’s contract at Anfield will expire next summer, meanwhile, and according to Estadio Deportivo, Spanish outfit Betis are considering a swoop for the attacker.
However, a number of Liverpool fans have taken to social media to urge their club to keep hold of Origi heading into the 2019-20 campaign, with many pointing out the 6 ft 1 ace’s importance to the squad.
