The 29-year-old striker is chasing a special goalscoring record that even the likes of Harry Kane and Thierry Henry have failed to achieve. In the pandemic-affected 2020/21 season, Mullin scored 32 goals in the league for Cambridge United before joining Wrexham in the summer of 2021 on a free transfer. In his first season with the Red Dragons, he scored 28 goals in the National League, followed by a tally of 38 during Wrexham's record-breaking title win.

So far this season, Mullin has scored 24 goals in 37 League Two appearances and a goal against Stockport would see him break the currently standing record of three consecutive seasons of 25+ goals. Currently, he holds the record alongside Thierry Henry, Harry Kane, Jordan Rhodes, Danny Rowe, Macaulay Langstaff and Shaun Jeffers.
WHAT NEXT FOR MULLIN?
The 29-year-old will be in action for the last game of the season when Wrexham take on the League Two champions, Stockport County on Saturday, April 27.
